And so to Chelsea Flower Show for my annual visit, with thanks to the RHS for the press pass. Not so many gardens this year, down by almost half, with Brexit being used as the excuse. Not so many celebs either or maybe I missed them or failed to recognise them. The weather was glorious, as were some of the gardens. Fabulous plants and garden accessories as usual, with eye watering price tags to match. I returned with less inspiration than usual but enjoyed the late afternoon sun at Brooklands with one or two ideas. Lunch was, as per tradition, at Cote on Sloane Square. Last year I saw John Cleese there, this year no one of any note. Predictable. As was my lunch. Usual favourites of Charcuterie and the Poulet Grille with extra frites of course. And to think I used to criticise Scott for always ordering the same food at the curry house!
